Our happy little Peanut!!

Aidan always has a smile on his face, except for when its time to eat we can't get it in there fast enough!! He's growing up so fast, It's hard to believe that he's going to be 6 mths on January 5!!

Stephen likes his new wratchet set, Aidan Loves his Bear from aunt Katherine, and I love the watch I got from Steve! It was great to start some of our own Family Traditions!! The Saturday before Christmas we went out for breakfast together, we stuffed eachothers stocking (I filled Aidan's) And then Christmas Eve as a family we opened our gifts! The strat of our family traditions!

Our very first Chritmas as a Family!!

Aidan fell asleep under the tree right when we wanted to open presents! I just set him down and 2 minutes later he was sleeping!! It's been a busy weekend!!

The Penning and VanMaanen Gathering!!

Well we didn't take any other pictures except this one of all the kids!! Last year we were all pregnant expecting our first children, and this year we're all parents!! The Lord has richley blesssed us all!! Zach's smile could light up the whole room!! But none of them were really smiling because it was very close to bed time!! Except Kailyn, but she had just eaten!! This year the house was filled with children lauging and crying! We had a lot of Fun the Girls all played Mississippi, Which Nicole and Denise ended up breaking a 3 way tie!! And the guys played foose ball, and I am not sure who won that tourney!! And well the parents. . . they just talked!!
I an so thankful to God that he has blessed me with 2 wonderful families in my life!

Well Selena (Steve's youngest cousin)really loved being with Aidan!! I think it was because she was the baby for years and has never had another baby in the family until Aidan!




At the Gift exchange Dad Once agian got the 'girly gift', with bath soaps, lotions, and other things that make you smell good! He got that one last year too!! IIt was a riot!! At the end of the game Dad made a secret switch with Oma as Oma would rather have the soaps that a swiss army knife!!

The VanMaanen Christmas

Well I think that this being Aidan's first Christmas he walked away with the most presents!! It was very different having a baby at the Christmas Exchange! Now there was some little guy talking throughtout the Bible reading and story being told, Diapers to be changed, and bottles to be fed! It is Quite differnt from last year but in a wonderful way!

The Versteeg Christmas

Well it's that time of year. . . where we spend days with family (and driving!!)
This year for the Versteeg Christmas we went to Uncle Richard and Aunt Sue's House!
WE had lots of fun! The day was spent with everybody going curling, what a great idea from Uncle Richard! It was colder in the arena than outside!! It was a time filled with lots of laughter and smiles! I was fortunate enough to sit on the side lines to take lots of picture and cheer everyone on!

Aidan sure has a GREAT social life!!

It seems that every weekend since Aidan has been born that we are going out meeting new and old friends! And well it hasn't stopped yet!! Aidan loves meeting new people, gives him something to smile about!!
