He can Stand!!!

Aidan can finally stand on his own, but only for a few moments! He can sit all by himself, which I am quite proud of!! However he has no need for laying on his tummy, so therefore he might miss the crawling stage. The odd time when he is on his tummy he will move in circles but he likes to be able to see us, so he would rather be sitting!


I tried to get a picture of he teeth that are coming in on the bottom but I got tongue mostly! But they look as if there are going to break through any day now, which explains the sudden bursts of crying in the middle of the nights, but I just pop his soother back in and all is right with the world again!!!He can

She has Arrived!!

Well the long awaited Emily is here!! She is absolutely beautiful!! She is perfect in every way! May the Lord bless Jen and Justin as they start down the long journey of parenthood!! Congratulations Jen and Justin and Brian and Pat(as they are first time grandparents!!) and to Herb and Wilma as they are grandparents again!!

Someone said yesterday that Aidan looks alot like Steve and I was shocked as everyone says that he looks like me!! Funny how people see differently! ALthough I do think that Aidan has Steve's eyes! he's quite the handsome man(both of them ;0)

His First Haircut!!!

Well much to Aunt Jen's request I finally had to cut behind his ears! He always had wings every time we took his hat off, but I found it quite hard to cut his hair. . .It means that he is growing up!!! Quite sad I know!!(and I don't want him to!!!)Well I hope it will be a while before he needs another one as he is quite the wiggle worm! It's not the best cut (totally straight across) nut it was harder than I thought it would be!! By the end he was quite the grumpy little guy, but at least he no longer has wings, and is quite handsome with his new cut!!!!

My little man Aidan has a little bit of Cradle Cap(I think that's what it is called, and much to Aunt Jen's concern we would like to get rid of it! I thought it would go away on its own but it hasn't yet! So if any one knows how to get rid of it please let me know! Thank you

My New Window!!!

Well Last weekend The guys set out to work early at Brian V house to get it more presentable to sell! Steve, of course started a t 9am and told Tim that he would be there around 8am!! I told Tim good luck with that!! So while the guys worked there Jen and I went out for breakfast!! By the time I got home Dan, Mia and Steve were alredy there and they were inspecting the outside for the window!!Mia was such a great helper!! Then they went to it and Mia, Aidan and I stayed inside and played! We colored pictures and played with Aidan toys and had lots of fun!!I think if Aidan was a little bit older that Mia and him would have a thing eventually, cause she's always hugging and kissing him it's so adorable!!

it's been a while!!

Well I do not have any new pictures of us, but I thought that I would say hello to all! You know it was so busy before and after Christmas that it is nice to sit back and relax a little bit!! Although things with everyone around us will be getting busy soon enough! With Mel having her baby and then Jen and then many others things will get a little more busy than usual!! I was just reading the last book of Karen Kingsbury Redemption Series, and it dawned on me that we have much to be thankful for! We all are richley blest with our children, with wonderful husbands, wonderful friends and family and a roof over our heads! There are so many out there that may not be able to have children, or have a family of God, or do not have a roof over thier heads! We have much to be thankful for!! God has been so good to all of us! I guess I have been lately thinking about our trip to Ecuador 3 years ago, as there are alot of mission trip happening everywhere, they all had so little yet because they had a great love for God, they knew that He would walk with them everyday, no matter what was to happen!I think that sometimes we take even the simple things of life, like going out for a cup of coffee, for granted! I guess what I am trying to say is that we have to be careful of falling into the trap of wanting more than wanting what our Lord has given to us, and to be thankful for what He has given us! I just wanted to share those thoughts with you all,not to pass judgement but to remind us that we have alot to be thankful for!! Our God is so good to us!!
